Caro High Envirothon Team
On Tuesday, April 22nd, the Caro High Envirothon Team took to the school forest to teach McComb's second graders about the importance of trees. Through engaging books, interactive learning stations, and a fun nature walk - which included planting a tree, the team celebrated Earth Day by bringing its message to life. Thanks to a generous donation from the Tuscola Conservation District, each second grader received a tree to plant at home. Additionally, the Envirothon Team donated books to the second grade classrooms, helping students grow their knowledge along with their new trees. Happy Earth Day!

The Envirothon team created a video presentation of their project, which was submitted for adjudication in the State Envirothon competition. Their hard work paid off—they received first place in the video round of judging! As a result the team has advanced to the next stage and members of the team will present their project in person at the State Competition on Thursday, May 15th.
