Caro Skeet 1st in Conference
Caro wrapped up an outstanding fall skeet season, securing 1st place in our conference for the fifth consecutive season—a testament to the team’s consistency and dedication. Impressively, six of the top ten shooters in the conference were from Caro: Gary Kunse, Zoe Montei, Landen Montei, Luke Joslyn, Tylar Sattelberg, and Donald Gilberg.
A special congratulations goes to Zoe Montei, who earned the title of Top Female Skeet Shooter in Michigan—a remarkable achievement that highlights her skill and hard work.
Every athlete on the team showed improvement in their season averages, reflecting the strong coaching and commitment across the board.
Two weeks ago, Caro competed in a tri-school match against Cass City and Frankenmuth, taking first place and claiming seven of the top ten individual finishes out of 29 competitors. This past weekend, the team continued its winning streak with a victory over Lapeer.
Looking ahead, the team is excited for the spring season, where they’ll be competing in both skeet and trap disciplines. With momentum on their side, Caro is poised for another strong showing. Congratulations to All!
