Ms. Corradi’s 8th grade Science classes put their learning into action with a chicken wing dissection lab. Students worked as teams to explore how muscles, tendons, and joints work together- making real world connections to the human body. Great work!

Our 8th-grade Science students had an engaging and eye-opening experience learning about soil conservation. 

Through an interactive presentation, students explored how soil plays an important role and why protecting it is critical for agriculture, water quality, and the environment. They learned about real-world conservation practices and how even small actions can make a big impact.

Congratulations to the Middle School Choir for achieving a Division 1 rating at the Choir Festival!

Our CMS Academic Games team competed at SVSU yesterday against ten other schools from across the Thumb and finished in a three-way tie for second place! Great job, everyone! A special thanks to Ms. Shauger, who coached our team, Mrs. Wiederhold for escorting them for the day, and our students for representing our school so well!

Some of our students had an amazing experience after reading The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton in class. To bring the story to life, they traveled to the Fisher Theatre in Detroit to see the stage production!

Experiences like these remind us how powerful it can be when learning moves beyond the classroom!

What an incredible afternoon of movement, laughter, and connection! The Unified Champions from Highland Pines and Caro Middle School partnered with Mr Love’s 8th grade PE class to enjoy playing adapted soccer, tossing footballs, shooting hoops, and bumping dodgeballs like volleyballs. The smiles, teamwork, and encouragement said it all—this day was about more than sports. It was about inclusion, joy, and community. 💟
