HS Boys Cross Country

Caro Junior High White Division Runner Up for both the boys and girls teams.

On Thursday, while our 8th-11th grader students were hard at work taking the PSAT, 7th grade students enjoyed exploring careers right here in our community! We visited McLaren Caro Hospital, POET Biorefining, Caro City Hall Fire and Police Stations, and the Tuscola County Court House. After a morning filled with learning, and a few fun surprises, we enjoyed lunch and bowling at the Brentwood. A special thanks to all of the professionals at each establishment for welcoming our students, taking time from their busy days to share their skills and knowledge, and providing a springboard for post-secondary planning! Special thanks to our very own Megan Franklin, student success coordinator, for organizing a great day of learning. #cultivateexcellence

A little creativity and a pizza party!

Students at McComb Elementary recently took part in a coloring contest during Tiger Lab, and the winning class earned a pizza party!

A big thank you to Mr. St. Clair for putting the contest together and Bell Wasik for providing the pizza. What a fun treat for our Tigers!

Today, some of our Grades 3–6 students participated in our first Project Unified event of the school year with students from Highland Pines!

It was a great opportunity for students to connect, build new friendships, work together, and celebrate what makes each person unique. Project Unified is all about creating a school community where everyone belongs, everyone is included, and everyone has an opportunity to shine.

We are excited for a year filled with more activities, friendships, teamwork, and memories with our friends from Highland Pines!

One team. One community. Everyone belongs.

Our 3rd-grade Tigers had an exciting day of hands-on learning at Project RED (Rural Education Day)!

Students had the opportunity to learn more about agriculture, animals, farming, food production, and the important role agriculture plays in our everyday lives. Experiences like Project RED help bring classroom learning to life while giving our students a better understanding of the rural community around them.

A big thank you to everyone who helped organize the event, shared their knowledge with our students, and made this experience possible!
